Information we collect

When you request an appointment, a quote, a partnership, or send a message, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, phone, email, appointment location, preferred date and time, document type, number of notarial acts, accessibility needs and notes.

Information we do not request

• We do not request Social Security numbers, medical records, or financial account numbers through our website or Maxwell.
• We do not accept uploads of legal documents through public forms or chat.

Maxwell AI concierge

Maxwell is an AI assistant, not a human. Messages are processed by a third-party AI provider to generate replies and are stored for up to 30 days to provide conversation continuity, then automatically deleted. Optional voice input uses your browser’s speech service and is only active when you choose to use it.

How we use information

Only to respond to your request, schedule and perform notarial services, send confirmations and updates, and meet legal record-keeping obligations. We do not sell your information.

Access and security

Customer submissions are visible only to the business owner through a secured, authenticated dashboard. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

Retention

Appointment and inquiry records are retained as long as needed to provide services and comply with applicable North Carolina requirements, then deleted. You may ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.
